Jennifer Madu

Research lead

Jennifer is a current Master of Public Health student at Boston University, with a devotion to maternal and child health. She has an enthusiastic dedication to research, with experience in conducting projects and presenting findings at major conferences, and a passion for addressing and combating health disparities. Her experience with community service grew from her previous role during her undergraduate career as an executive board member of the Black Student Union, as she participated in volunteering at shelters and organizing events that promoted inclusion in the sciences and discussed important topics that affect underrepresented communities. These opportunities made her eager to join WGU’s team as the new Research Lead so she can showcase her skills and expand her knowledge for a greater goal.
